Sports Time originated in 1989 as the vision of a physical education teacher who wanted to bring his professional knowledge to a business concentrating on sports-related items.
Founder Bill Janell felt the need to add a personalized touch, coupled with competitive pricing to better serve the needs of local sports teams and schools. With his professional background in schools and school sports as an asset, Bill used his expertise to select branded sports items which reflected quality, durability and comfort. He instinctively knew what worked, and what didn’t.
